Kit Builders Soldering and Assembly Service was created for anyone who desired to have their components soldered in place. In the beginning, components were installed in thru-hole configuration according to circuit card layouts.
As technology and manufacturing evolved, electrical design and packaging created a new era of components commonly know as “Surface Mount”.

BACKGROUND
Granted a FCC General class radio license in 1967 (Wa6ouw), assembled many of the Heath Kits for the school system, worked at Northrop Grumman for 34 years assisting in manufacturing of Aerial Electronic Countermeasures used by the Air Force and Navy and assisted in ISO 9001 company certification. Obtained Level 3 Nasa Soldering Certification.
